The Adult and Junior Usher Board Ministry manages incoming and outgoing traffic in the sanctuary, parking lot and on special occasions welcoming members and visitors throughout the church.
Health Ministry

The Health Ministry provides assistance and care to pastors, the congregation and the community. Its mission is to encourage a healthy body, mind and spirit.
Kitchen Ministry
Contact: Deborah Long
The mission of the Kitchen Ministry is to serve God’s people in a manner that will benefit those in need. The Kitchen Ministry assists staff/event committees by providing refreshments of meals that are prepared and served for His service.
Men of Action

Focus: Men Young and Old
Meeting: Every Second Saturday @ 8:30 AM
Fellowship of Men. The Men of Action Ministry encourages men to take the opportunity to apply their spiritual gifts in leadership, community outreach, fellowship and supporting our youth.
Media Ministry
Contact: Kristina Lewis
The Media Ministry provides products and services to help market the church and draw people to the Kingdom. The responsibilities of the Media Ministry include: audio/video, live camera feeds, social networking and overseeing the website.
Music Ministry

The Music Ministry works toward the goal of a lifestyle of worship, fulfilling our purpose and our calling through music.
Women of CCOG Ministry

Focus: Women Young and Old
Meetings: Every first Saturday @ 9:15 AM
The Women of CCOG Ministry provides encouragement and resources to women of the church and the community for spiritual growth in relationships, bible study, prayer and service.
Monday Night Bible Class

Meetings: Every Monday @ 6:30 PM
Monday Night Bible Class is an in-depth study and discussion of the Bible every Monday evening.

Children’s Church

Focus: Young children (potty-trained to 10 years old)
Meets: Every Sunday @ 11:30 AM
Children’s Church is a child care service provided for children (potty-trained to 10 years old). Our Children’s Church allows parents to focus more on the preached word on Sunday while the children learn more about God in an environment that is more suitable for them.

Wednesday Night Youth Services

Focus: Youth Ages 4 – 18
Meets: Every Wednesday @ 7:00 PM
During our Wednesday Night Youth Services, children and young adults go to age assigned classrooms where they study topics in the Bible and how to apply its teachings in every-day life. Light refreshments are served.

(Adult Prayer and Fellowship meetings run concurrently in the church sanctuary).

Mid-Week Prayer Service

Food Pantry

Meets: Every other Friday @ 12:00 PM
Location: 565 Jefferson St., Ypsilanti, MI 48197
Provided in collaboration with Food Gathers, the CCOG Food Pantry is an outreach program run by the Community Church of God to serve the community by providing supplemental groceries to families who might not be able to make it to the end of the month.

Held every 1st, 3rd and 5th Friday of the month, 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM (excluding holidays – call for details). Registration is required for pick-up. Boxes can be picked up via drive-through. The food pantry is staffed by church members who freely give their time to reflect.

The Bridge Card does not allow for the purchase of personal hygiene items or cleaning products. Please consider donating items that fall into the following categories.

Junior & Senior Youth

Our Junior & Senior Youth Ministry helps our youth and young adults study the Bible and discover its application in their lives. All in-person meetings are suspended for the time being. Please contact us to learn more bout our alternative programs.
